We were introduced to First Nonprofit Group (FNG) through the Housing Authority of Joliet. In our analysis and comparison to what we were paying the State, our first year savings was $5,800 plus. We have been with them since the end of 2008 and I am glad we have been. I consider them an arm of our HR department.
The Alliance for Nevada Nonprofits has been watching how First Nonprofit Group has served nonprofits through other state associations of nonprofits for a while now. We realize that the savings that First Nonprofit brings to nonprofits is huge and one benefit ANN has been wanting to bring to our members state-wide. So, when we had the first opportunity to partner with First Nonprofit, we took it.
First Nonprofit’s unemployment programs offer sound unemployment insurance controlling which enable INCS member schools to effectively manage this important human resources area and reduce their state unemployment costs; while not exposing them to unknown liabilities associated with self-insuring. Many INCS member schools use their UI services, and have saved money over the years, so it was a natural fit for us to work with them.
Frankly, I can’t understand why nonprofits wouldn’t take advantage of the good fiscal and cost-cutting techniques this program has to offer. This program is a much better deal than the State Insurance Program.
First Nonprofit offers experience and understanding of nonprofit needs unlike any other insurer or administrator. Their unemployment program helped us more effectively address another area in our risk and financial management profile.
Being a part of First Nonprofit and having them assist us as we reached our insurance limits has helped smoothed out some of the extreme peaks and valleys we have experienced recently. As we move to a more “normal” path we look forward to a long and mutually beneficial relationship with First Nonprofit. Thanks again for having our back.
